Not every great talk fits neatly into the primary spotlight — and that’s a strength, not a limitation!
This page brings together talks that shine in their own distinctive ways, broadening the range of ideas shared through the Fulmo Talk Series. These sessions expand the scope of ideas we want to share with the world. These belong to our Aliaj Prelegoj de Intereso (or Other Talks of Interest) section: thoughtful, engaging talks that expand the intellectual and cultural scope of the series.
These talks are part of the Kunslingva Prelegaseta Sekcio, translated as the “Section pertaining to the Constructed Languages linked (or related) Set of Talks”, and sometimes abbreviated as the KP Section. One of the aims of the KP section is to demonstrate that Constructed Languages like Esperanto can be as expressive as natural languages like English and French.
Talks for the KP Section were generally recorded in English, with transcripts subsequently translated into Esperanto. Reviewing these transcripts makes clear that constructed languages can be just as expressive as languages like English or French — and that they can also serve as link languages, connecting people from around the world. The aim of this section is to underscore that very idea. And, of course, the talks are worth listening to, as well.
